• I don’t see my insurance listed, does that mean I have to do self-pay?

  • No! Please reach out and we can see if it’s possible for us to work with your insurance provider.

• I don’t have insurance and I can’t afford the self-pay rates, does that mean I can’t receive services?

  • No again! We are happy to work with you to find a solution that works for you. Our resident therapists offer high quality therapy at reduced rates.

• What forms of payment do you accept?

  • We accept cash, card or check. However, you are required to keep a credit card on file.

• What if I don’t want to pay with a card on file?

  • If you communicate with us we are happy to accept whatever form of payment works best for you. However, a card must still be on file as a back-up payment method.

• When do I have to pay for services?

  • Payment is required at the time of service for self-pay individuals. Co-pays are paid the day the invoice is created - this is often about 30 days after date of service.

• Should I check with my insurance provider to see if Yellow Root is in network?

  • Yes! This is the best way to make sure services are covered. We will do our best to check that information upon completion of the intake paperwork but you are the ultimately responsible for checking.
